Challenge
Course is interacting and learning with
fellow team members in a fun and
supportive atmosphere. The experience incorporates the "Challenge by
Choice" concept where participants are encouraged to attempt each
activity, without element of force. All activities are sequenced in a
manner that promotes the development of self-confidence, group trust and
equipment dependability. As individuals move through the activities, they
can interact on past experiences with the group, incorporate the insights
gained from the previous situations, and translate those insights to the
future undertakings. The low activities, also
called initiatives, are problems presented to the
group that must be solved using the physical and intellectual resources of
the group. The interpersonal skills required for team success, such as
co-operation, decision-making and commitment are related back to working
situations in every day life. BENEFIT The Challenge Course is composed of a series of elements that are used to help individuals and groups to work better as teams, facilitate communications skills in groups, as well as help build confidence in individuals. The challenge course experience serves to offer the following benefit:-
